Ethanol extract reported show optimal results reducing blood glucose levels and stimulating pancreatic beta cells secreting hormone. This study aims determine effect bitter melon on streptozotosin-induced rat. consisted 3 groups test namely rat, rat given ethyl acetate fraction extract, not induced-streptozotosin rats. Insulin measured by ELISA method. Data analysis used Unpaired T-test considered if (p value >0,05). Research result that there is different between the with group (p=0,081). There rats (p=0,505).
